Bangalore: Sanovi Technologies, a disaster recovery and business continuity management specialist, has won the DR implementation projects under the eGovernance Projects of "Accelerated Power Development and Reform Programme" (APDRP). Sanovi will be working with the State Electricity Boards and discoms in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka to get a robust disaster recovery plan for these states.

The Ministry of Power has directed the states to quicken the pace of the restructured accelerated power development and reforms programme which would curb the incessant loss of power owing to theft and T&D losses. In the APDRP projects, impetus is given to IT enabling of the sector on an integrated platform. The IT platform helps to capture and validate energy and revenue model at the same time.

Sanovi will assist in setting up of a DR centre in the APDRP project. The DR processes will be monitored online with the help of DR management Suits.
